Sewing + Transfer Paper

Eureka, I have finally discovered transfer paper! Actually, I’ve known about it for a while, and has been on my DIY to-do list for a long time. The instructions are pretty basic:

1. Print the mirror image on the transfer paper using a standard printer;
2. Iron the image for a few minutes;
3. Then peel off the back once it cools down.

About a year ago, I tried to print directly onto the burlap by using a heat ‘n bond, but it was just too thick for my printer. By using transfer paper this time around, I was able to successfully transfer the image onto the burlap using this method.

So now the search begins to find even cuter images so that I can transfer them on natural duck fabric to make cute pouches! Perfect timing for holiday gifts!

I think everything turned out sewtastic!
